Moderato Poetico to zbiór trzech dużych suit składających się z kilku części: Arie na Dobranoc op. 14 zawierają dziesięć utworów. Chociaż tytuły sugeruję utwory dla dzieci, jak na przykład „Przy chatce Baba Jagi” czy „W saniach Królowej Śniegu”, to wysoki stopień trudności technicznej wymaga talentu i dojrzałości ze strony wykonawcy. W tych kompozycjach zwraca uwagę brak utartych schematów. Harmonie i melodie są bardzo pomysłowe i zawsze zaskakują. Drugi zbiór to Miniatury Poetyczne Op 13 – grupa dziewięciu cudownie sugestywnych utworów. Ostatnim zbiorem jest Serenada Latina Op 11 składająca się z sześciu utworów. Absolutnie każdy utwór jest wart gry, więc można kupować bez obaw.

Moderato Poeticois a set of three large suites of several movements each; Good Night Arias Op 14 is a set of ten pieces obviously intended to be played to children, as the titles involve such pieces as At The Witch’s Cottage, and In The Snow Queen’s Sleigh to name but two. That said the player would have to be a grownup, or alternatively a very talented child, as they are quite difficult. The first thing that strikes you is the lack of anything hackneyed. The harmonies and melodies which are very clever and inventive always surprise you and reading the music, as a result, is destined to keep you on your toes. The second suite is Poetic Miniatures Op 13, a set of nine wonderfully evocative pieces whilst the final set is Op 11 Serenada Latina, six movements in length. Absolutely every single piece is well worth playing, so buy with confidence.
